We conceived and organised a ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ style cooking contest as a way to raise money for Jersey Cheshire Home. We secured celebrity host John Torode, local professional chefs and sponsors and ran all the supporting promotion and social media for it. The evening itself saw 2 teams go head to head and cook for paying guests, with live video links to the kitchen and footage from the day’s prep played out. We designed everything, from the brand to merchandise to branded prizes and handled all PR, social media and video production. The event grew in popularity from year to year – tickets and places on a team sold like hot cakes and over 4 years the competition raised over £60,000 for Jersey Cheshire Home!
